A cooktop at seated level for me, and a full-size range for when Dan wants to cook I made a bread station. The bread machine has a place there, and one of the drawers will have a bread-box insert. On shelves above are the things we have out for toast and bread- butter, honey, peanut butter, etc. Appliance Garage showing the positions of the appliances. The heavy ones are on the bottom and are able to slide in and out of the cabinet so I don't have to wrestle with them. Appliance Garage with the appliances put up. One of these is actually an upright freezer, but I couldn't find a model of one that was an appropriate size. You get the idea. Chest freezer and breaker panel. This is a gun cabinet. We're still discussing if we'll do this or make a hidden storage area for the guns. This is the only room the dog will be allowed in. It's where we spend most our time anyway. Bookshelves over the TV have glass or plexiglass to help with dust. We don't intend to pay for TV but we have a couple thousand DVDs we've collected over the years. This is the den from up high. An easy chair for me and Dan. Donnie's crate will be under shelves so that we can use them for my computer equipment. Dan likes to compute at his desk so that's there. We don't plan to pay for TV but we have a couple thousand DVDs I've collected over the years. The doggie door and dog food/water station. There will be a spigot that adds water to the bowl without having to move it, with a handle where I can reach it. A plastic bin fits in the cabinet above for kibble storage, and there is ample room in there for leashes, meds, etc. Closer of the Dog center. Back door leads out under a carport roof. The bench in the closet is 4' wide, so I can sit there and get on my boots! Under the bench is a boot mat made of river rocks so mud and water can drain off them. Bookshelves over the TV, covered with glass or plexiglass so they don't get too dusty. Looking into the hobby shop from the sitting room. They are pegs covered with foam rubber to avoid damaging the plane. Room for a couple of rolls of covering on the left. Plenty of storage for all the little things. Everything from buttons to screws to resistors. We have varried interests. Dremel cabinet with space for all the accessories and even the booklets that come with them. It hangs there but has a handle and attaches for use elsewhere. Paint center. PVC pipe cut into segments and plugged at one end makes a great storage for spray cans and larger bottoes. You can stuff rags in there too. A small window for ventilation when doing smelly things like soldering or painting. Cricut...cuts stencils, foil, balsa...uses designs you make on the computer. Sewing machine. This computer station will hold our servers, and will also be used for looking at how-to sites or patterns while we work. The file cabinet will hold bills and also lots of patterns, schematics, etc. This is a broom closet big enough for a shop-vac. The door has a built-in spice rack on the back for all my spices. Broom closet from above King size bed for king size people. Washer/dryer on Dan's side, with storage above for soap etc. On demand water heater shown near the floor. Sliding mirrored door for the closet. Bedroom door on the left, bathroom on the right. Bathroom from overhead. I wanted to be able to walk right into the shower and dump off dirty clothes to shower, to help with not spreading ticks in the house. Also I think it will be nice to shower with the doors open on pleasant days. We'll plant a hedge around, even though there's nobody nearby.
Sitting area from overhead. The amps and a laptop are on a wheeled cart so they can be taken outside on the porch if we like. You see our guitars have a home. Those benches move easily if the bed must be used, and they contain the bedding and the cushions for the couch.
The bed folds down from the side edge, not the top. When the bed is up, the couch bench folds down from it. Cushions for the couch are in the benches by the front window.
